Statement of Community Involvement.

The strategy team at our new SomersetWest and Taunton Council (SWAT) have started a consultation on Community Involvement. The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out how they propose to involve the residents, businesses and others when looking at local development (i.e planning applications). The purpose of the SCI is to bring a sense of ownership locally by actively involving people in decision making. The consultation is open to all residents who wish to make observations, comments etc for consideration by SWAT.
