Parish Council

This Parish Council is a fundamental tier of democratically elected local government and its aim is to ensure the Parish preserves its position in an important Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It works with both Somerset West and Taunton Distrci Council and Somerset County Council to this purpose. There are 7 Councillors on the Council and the Council meets formally every two months at the Popham Hall. The meetings are held in public in the Popham Hall at 1900 on the third Thursday of each odd numbered month.
