Temporary Arrangements for consideration of Planning Applications

The closing date for comments to the Parish Council for 45/20/0005 is Friday 24th April 2020. The application covers the replacement of a dwelling with erection of 3 No. self contained holiday lodges and alterations and closure of vehicluar accesses at Parkgate Lodge, New Road, West Bagborough.

Due to the National Emergency re COVID-19 the Parish Council cannot hold meetings in public at the Popham Hall as it normally would every 2 months. One of the regular items of business is the consideration of Planning Applications. In normal times members of the public, if they wish, are able to present an opinion to the Council before the Council response is decided. As this is not possible in the public meeting at the moment Council has agreed that details of planning should be publicised on the community website here along with a closing date for comments to the Parish Council.

Comments can be sent electronically to [email protected] or directly by speaking to an individual Councillor who will then share the comment with other Councillors. You can still talk to Councillors or the Parish Clerk if you want more detail on each application and cannot find it on the websites linked in this news item.

You can, of course, still make any comments directly to the Planning Authority and should do so if you have any, but especially strong, views that you want considered by the Planning Officer in Somerset West and Taunton District Council.
