View to a Hill. QLPS Project

The ‘View to a Hill’ project is managed by The Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme ( part of the AONB) and is all about understanding and looking after views towards the Quantock Hills.

Visit www.qlps.org/inspire-1-1-view-to-a-hill to tell the folks at the AONB the location of your favourite view towards the Quantock Hills, why you like it, and how it’s changing.

It may be a view from a village, road, footpath, historic site or other land with public access. It could be a sweeping panorama or a glimpse through a gateway; well-known or secret..

Later in the project, a selection of the views will be chosen to be studied in more detail, and guidance will be developed for their protection and enhancement. If you are interested in finding out more about ‘adopting’ a viewpoint to research and photograph, please supply your name and email address and we will get in touch with you. Training will be provided, including a workshop on 1st July.
